About The Position
The Cardiac Sonographer performs all cardiac ultrasound (echocardiograms) and produces images of the heart to show hemodynamics and function via cardiac ultrasound. Cardiac images are digitally acquired, and measurements obtained. The sonographer ensures patient safety through the use of procedure protocols and policies. This position is for a beginner sonographer who is continuing to hone their skills and techniques while further developing their technical skills and learning the different procedures.
