Perform a full range of cardiac ultrasound exams with precision and attention to detail Prepare exam areas and assist with maintaining accurate electronic health records Document findings and provide preliminary reports to aid cardiologist interpretation Assist with invasive cardiac procedures such as Transesophageal Echo and pericardial tamponade aspiration Maintain and disinfect TEE probes according to protocol Respond effectively during high-utilization and emergency situations Participate in continuing education and assist with peer training and departmental improvements Manage processing, storage, and retrieval of cardiac studies efficiently Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of a cardiac sonography program or equivalent training required Experience: Clinical rotation or experience in Adult Echocardiography Certification: Current BLS (CPR) certification required Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and medical terminology Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and optimizing image quality Ability to position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and medical terminology Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and optimizing image quality Ability to position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
