About The Position

Performs diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two year allied health education program that is patient care related. Allied health occupations include but are not limited to: diagnostic medical sonographer, radiologic technologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist and/or registered nurse preferred.
• A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or comparable national accreditation required.
• BLS certification issued through American Heart Association within six months of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others from a variety of disciplines
• Ability to work at a rapid pace under stressful conditions
• Manual dexterity to perform echocardiograms

Nice To Haves

• Two years of actively doing echocardiograms preferred.
