About The Position
The position involves maintaining proficiency with all cardiac ultrasound equipment and procedures performed at the Heart Center. The individual will perform echocardiograms on Iowa Heart Center patients according to established protocols, administer IV contrast agents, and instruct and educate patients regarding the ordered tests while preparing them for the procedures. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and completing all necessary paperwork and charting for the business office and medical records, attending required meetings, and participating on committees as requested. The individual will also operate required vehicle(s) in a safe manner to perform the required duties of the position.
