Cardiac Sonographer, Peds
About The Position
The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer performs routine and emergent echocardiograms, including but not limited to 2-dimensional, Doppler, Transesophageal, and Stress Echocardiogram, as requested by physician and in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures. Services are provided at all necessary locations, working variable shifts, weekends (as needed), and providing emergent call coverage as scheduled. The Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services. The CV Testing department has state of the art equipment where the Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer performs normal and abnormal echocardiography services for the adult and pediatric patient. Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required
- Pediatric Echocardiography Or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer Required
- Graduate Cardiovascular Sonography Or Associate's Degree Allied Health Required
- 1 Year Clinical - Ultrasound Required
