About The Position

HSHS St Elizabeth's Hospital and the cardiac experts of Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants seek a Cardiac 'Echo' Sonographer to join our cardiac imaging team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven professionals looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to support excellent patient care. New grad echo techs welcomed to apply. Welcoming candidate with any level of cardiac sonography experience for consideration. Pay scale may be different for higher levels of experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, an allied health program is required.
  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate program is preferred.
  • Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the RDCS or RCS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
