About The Position

The Cardiac Sonographer performs simple and complex diagnostic echocardiograms ordered by the physician on adult and older adult inpatient and outpatient populations.

Requirements

Associate's Degree required; in lieu of an Associate's Degree, employee must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography program with 12 months of full time clinical training. Certificate Program is acceptable.
1-2 years of adult cardiac ultrasound experience. Clinical rotations may be considered as 1 year of experience.
Registered or Registry Eligible in Adult Cardiac Sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Current driver's license required due to travel required to satellite offices 20% - 40% of the time.
NH state licensure for medical imaging and radiation therapy is required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
