About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Rehab Dietitian to join our healthcare team. This role will provide nutrition care to our cardiac rehab patient population at 2 locations – Fort Worth and Dallas. The role is expected to work 3 days per week at Fort Worth and 2 days per week at Dallas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and current license in the state of Texas
• At least 2 years of clinical nutrition experience, including direct patient counseling
• Demonstrated experience using motivational interviewing techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including medical and dietary history, to develop individualized nutrition plans
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families to support health and disease management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to provide holistic patient care
• Develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations
• Stay current with the latest developments in the field of nutrition and make recommendations for continuous improvement
