About The Position

Ocala Health is a seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice. Qualified Candidates: Prior cardiac experience required Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) required Join two cardiothoracic surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers 80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding, consults, discharges, some ICU & surgery First assist in procedures Share call with Advanced Practice Providers Must be NCCPA board certified Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR) Incentive/Benefits Package: This is an employed opportunity through HCA Physician Services Group which offers: Competitive compensation Great comprehensive and flexible benefits program PTO and CME time / allowance Occurrence-based malpractice Strong support system
