About The Position
Ocala Health is a seeking a cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice. Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR) and thoracic procedures
Requirements
- Must be NCCPA board certified
Nice To Haves
- Prior cardiac experience ideal
- Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) preferred
Responsibilities
- Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding, consults, discharges, some ICU & surgery
- First assist in procedures
- Share call with Advanced Practice Providers
