Description Be the rhythm behind lifesaving care. Emory University Hospital is seeking Cardiac Monitor Technicians to join our nationally recognized Heart & Vascular team. This role is at the center of some of the most advanced cardiovascular care in the Southeast—including heart and lung transplant, mechanical circulatory support, complex cardiothoracic surgery, and nationally leading VAD and structural heart programs. As a Monitor Tech, your vigilance and expertise provide the real-time insight that helps clinicians act quickly, safely, and confidently for high-acuity patients. What You’ll Do Observe, interpret, and record the telemetry recordings for monitored patients. May monitor alarms where applicable. Deliver and apply telemetry boxes to patients. Ensure the correct patient is being monitored. Report significant observations of cardiac rhythms and other alarm information to the health care team. Communicate pertinent information to patients as necessary. Produce accurate and complete documentation. Comply with handoff communication process. Perform other related duties as required.
