About The Position

Requirements

• Certification as a Cardiac Monitor Technician or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in cardiac monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an acute care hospital.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' cardiac activity using specialized equipment.
• Report any abnormal heart rhythms or changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
• Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
• Document patient information and monitoring results accurately.
