About The Position

The Cardiac Monitor Technician PRN is responsible for monitoring patient status through electronic systems and alerting the patient care team when any variances or alarms occur, in accordance with established policies. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring patient safety and effective communication within the healthcare team.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• ECG Certification required within 12 months of hire date by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience strongly preferred.
• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course and/or demonstrated competency in rhythm analysis upon hire.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Proficiency in computer programs required to perform the role.
