Responsibilities The Monitor Technician is responsible for the on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
• Work Hours: 0700-1900
• Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score.
