Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or Sports Medicine
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an undergraduate cardiac rehabilitation/wellness center or one (1) year practical experience preferred
  • One (1) year experience in developing exercise prescriptions for high-risk populations in a hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation or wellness center program preferred

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the director/supervisor/charge nurse, the exercise specialist assists in the daily operation of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department through the instruction and supervision of clients during exercise sessions.
