About The Position

We are actively hiring a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician to join our growing electrophysiology program at a leading Level II Trauma Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing Cardiac Services team and make a meaningful impact on patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of EP experience strongly preferred (especially with ablation device knowledge and acute care exposure)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Credentialed as one of the following: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of EP experience strongly preferred (especially with ablation device knowledge and acute care exposure)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab
• Perform procedures such as PTCA, stent placement, IABP insertion, EP device implantations, and ablations
• Maintain detailed procedural documentation and patient records
• Monitor patient status and equipment during procedures
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other technical staff to ensure safe, effective care
