JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Electrophysiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Flagstaff, AZ • Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital and In-Office Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: February 2, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday, scheduled weeks) COVERAGE DATES • February 2–6, 2026 • February 9–13, 2026 • March 16–20, 2026 • April 6–10, 2026 • April 13–17, 2026 • May 4–8, 2026 • June 29–July 3, 2026 • July 20–24, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Clinic 20–22 patients per day • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: Cardiac electrophysiology, heart rhythm disorders FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 268 hospital beds • Trauma Level: Adult Levels I–IV • EMR System: Cerner • Office Equipment Available: EP lab equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Cath Lab and hospital services • Support Staff Available: TBD • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: TBD • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Cardiac electrophysiology procedures • Left-sided ablations • Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) • Moderate sedation JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active Arizona license required; IMLC accepted • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology • DEA: Arizona-registered DEA required • Certifications: ACLS • Experience: Minimum 1 year; must document 100 EP cases in past 2 years with emphasis on ablations • Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently and using Abbott Ensite-X mapping system DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide electrophysiology services in hospital and clinic settings • Perform ablations and other EP procedures • Conduct hospital consults and clinic visits • Utilize Abbott Ensite-X mapping technology • Document all patient encounters in Cerner EMR

Requirements

  • Active Arizona license required; IMLC accepted
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
  • Arizona-registered DEA required
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Must document 100 EP cases in past 2 years with emphasis on ablations
  • Must be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
  • Must be comfortable using Abbott Ensite-X mapping system
