When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.PER DIEM, weekend and holiday coverageJob Description:Duties/Responsibilities:Explains procedure to patient prior to testing.Assists in gathering patient assessment data for physician review.Assures adequate equipment and supplies for testing.Maintains accurate records.Assists in monitoring patient EKG and vital signs during stress test and recovery period.Assists in initiating emergency measures as required.Performs EKGs, places holter and event monitors.Connects patients to stress testing equipment.Gathers patient history & lab values prior to testing for the cardiologist.Participates in process improvementCommunicates interdepartmentally and house-wide as needed. Requirements

  • Minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalency
  • EKG Technician, Cardiology Technician, Exercise Physiologist, who have had the following:
  • Cardiology Stress Testing, EKG, Holter & Event Testing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
  • Capable of using Information Systems, e.g. Meditech, McKession

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
