About The Position

The position is within the Cardiology department at Ascension Medical Group, located in Destin, FL. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves overseeing device programming, educating patients about procedures, addressing patient concerns, administering and monitoring devices, maintaining documentation, and managing supply inventory.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 or more years of experience as a Vascular Echo Technologist (VT) - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee device programming including the integration and reprogramming of devices and monitoring of patients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures.
• Address and communicate patient concerns regarding devices to physicians.
• Administer, monitor and reprogram devices.
• Maintain documentation of reported information and may perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
• Maintain supply inventory.
