Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Device Clinic Specialist for a full-time role in Charlottesville, VA. This position is day shift position Monday to Friday and is On Site. This is not a remote position. This position does offer flexible shift scheduling. At the Device Clinic at Sentara Martha Jefferson , where you'll work in a specialized, small team environment. As a Cardiac Device Specialist, you will monitor patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) using various software to conduct cardiac device interrogations. This role involves employing your knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology to assess the technical function of CIEDs, analyze device diagnostics, and maintain accurate clinical documentation, while recognizing abnormal functions of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices. Along with performing device interrogations, you will assist our Education specialist and Manager with other clinical aspects of this hospital-based device clinic. The Device Clinic Specialist facilitates optimal clinical effectiveness of implanted cardiac devices through the application of technical knowledge and skills to evaluate device function and device management in outpatient, procedural, and inpatient settings.
