Support the clinical team during invasive cardiac procedures Prep patients and assist with room and equipment setup Maintain sterile technique and safe patient‑handling practices Help ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment Participate in equipment operation, maintenance, and quality assurance Assist with patient monitoring, equipment scanning, and basic emergency response (e.g., CPR prep) Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and annual competencies Cath Lab–specific tasks include: Patient prep for procedures Setting up ultrasound, mapping systems, and other equipment Opening supplies for cases and documenting vitals/supplies Recognizing patient deterioration and initiating emergency protocols What do you need to be an Cardiac Cath Lab Technician? Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Surgical or procedural setting experience preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/push/pull 35 lbs Hand‑eye coordination for tasks such as typing or equipment handling Ability to sit, stand, squat, or move for extended periods Ability to read, write, and communicate in English EEOC Statement: Ellis Medicine is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Salary Range: $19.25-$27.91 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
