About The Position

Executes appropriate patient care by assisting the physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care. Registry may define responsibilities that are specific to each registry but does not limit activities under direct physician supervision.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Experience in cardiovascular patient care.
• Experience in radiographic special procedures and/or hemodynamic monitoring.

• Experience working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiac disease.
• Maintains integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures.
