Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Department Manager , they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the Cardiac Cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms. Location: Good Samaritan Hospital Work Hours Part-time,60 hours bi-weekly Day Shift On Call Commitment rotation Sign-On Bonus (Qualified external candidates only) 2+ years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $17,500 with a two-year work commitment. Less than 2 years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $8,750 with a one-year work commitment.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in allied health
  • Successfully passed the Hemodynamic test
  • EKG competency preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CVT/CVIT or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
  • BLS/CPR
  • Unrestricted license from ODH if ARRT
  • Understanding of aseptic technique
  • 3-4 years' experience in a related field

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
  • Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
  • Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
  • Demonstrate organizational responsibility.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families.
