About The Position

Organization: SRMC-Sutter Roseville Med Center Position Overview: Performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and uses clinical skills to execute safe and precise routine procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Works under the supervision of a preceptor to gain clinical skills to perform advanced level exams. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist program
- When working in Interventional Radiology: ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- When working in Cardiovascular Technology: ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologists OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist OR RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy OR RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist OR CVT-Certified Vascular Technologist OR CCT-Certified Cardiographic Technician OR RVT-Registered Vascular Technologist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- When working in Electrophysiology: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 2 years recent relevant experience
