About The Position

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, Fulltime, Dayshift, at St Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA. The position is responsible for the day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise, and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The role also involves assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards.

Requirements

• RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certified, or must be working toward receiving ACLS within 3 months of employment.
• Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, or Respiratory program or Paramedic program.
• One year of clinical respiratory therapy experience is preferred, but will accept new registry eligible graduates.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensure that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise, and professional manner.
• Assure procedural compliance with all nationally published standards.
