Requirements

• Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate.
• Interprets, describes, and reports test results; recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately.
• Monitors patients prior to, during, and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in the patient's condition.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and lab area; ensures equipment is properly functioning.
• Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel and locks/tags out equipment if appropriate.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
• May perform point of care testing according to policies and procedures.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
