The Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
• Associates in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience
• 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
• RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
• Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association only)

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
• Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure
• On Call for Emergent Procedures
