About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced, high-acuity interventional cardiac unit in New York, NY. This role is ideal for experienced Cath Lab or Critical Care nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment and technical expertise.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience (ICU or Emergency Department)
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Ability to provide Primary Source Verification through the NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions
• Continuously monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms during invasive procedures
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation in compliance with safety protocols
• Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias and procedural complications, following ACLS guidelines
• Perform advanced IV insertion, phlebotomy, and manage arterial and venous access lines
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural patient care, including sheath removal and access site assessment
