Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
  • NYS DOH
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac CT Technologist in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in performing cardiac CT imaging procedures and utilizing advanced imaging software and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in image acquisition, analysis, and documentation.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development in the field of cardiac imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Cardiac CT Scans: Conduct high-quality cardiac CT scans utilizing advanced imaging protocols and techniques to visualize the structure and function of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate cardiac CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Image Analysis: Accurately analyze and interpret cardiac CT images, identifying any abnormalities or anomalies that may require further evaluation or intervention. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document all relevant patient information, imaging protocols, and procedural details accurately and comprehensively. Prepare detailed reports of cardiac CT findings for review by physicians and inclusion in patient medical records
