Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained.
Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Ventilator management experience preferred.
Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
Monitor and interpret telemetry and ECG rhythms; respond to arrhythmias promptly.
Administer cardiac medications, IV drips, and titrate vasoactive agents.
Assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and stress testing.
Perform rapid response and ACLS interventions during cardiac emergencies.
Educate patients and families on cardiac health, recovery plans, and lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
