About The Position

Job Title: Cardiac Anesthesiologist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Charleston, WV Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 06/01/2026 – December 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Night coverage; primarily 10 -hour shifts with some 8 - and 12 -hour shifts possible Shift Hours: 7:00p – 7:00a On -Call Shift Schedule: Not guaranteed; providers may be asked to take call on an as -needed basis

Requirements

• Active West Virginia medical license required; facility not willing to license
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology required
• Active DEA required
• Active CSR required
• ABA, ACLS, and BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac anesthesiology and related subspecialty care
• Willingness and ability to supervise CRNAs
• Flexibility to float between assigned facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesiology services for scheduled surgical procedures
• Supervise CRNAs in a hospital -based anesthesia care team model
• Deliver anesthesia care across multiple hospital sites as assigned
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe perioperative care
• Document anesthesia care accurately and timely in Epic
• Comply with hospital policies, credentialing requirements, and quality standards
