Location : Cincinnati ,Ohio We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Card Test Lead and Test Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Cards & Payments domain, particularly in credit card platforms, and will lead testing efforts for credit card migration projects. This role demands strong leadership, domain knowledge, and hands-on experience with card processing systems like TSYS-TS2.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Cards & Payments, with a focus on credit card platforms.
  • Strong understanding of card lifecycle functionalities:
  • Card origination
  • Product changes
  • Fraud transfers
  • Payment allocation
  • Fees and financial charges
  • Hands-on experience with TSYS-TS2 or similar platforms.
  • Proven success in credit card migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and transaction processing flows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end testing for credit card migration projects.
  • Define and execute test strategies across functional, regression, and UAT phases.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Validate critical card processes: issuance, authorization, transaction posting, and settlement.
  • Oversee defect management: triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other relevant standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation: test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs.
  • Proficient in JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent test management tools.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior testers and guide offshore teams to ensure quality and consistency.
