Keeping games balanced by seating new players at the appropriate tables. Signing players up on the wait list if seats are not currently available. Calling players on the wait list in order to fill vacant seats. Establish business relationships with guests through excellent customer service by smiling, making eye contact, and attentively listening to guests’ needs while making a reasonable effort to accommodate. Answering phones in a polite, professional manner. Answering guest inquiries in a polite, courteous manner. Making regular announcements both in the poker room, as well as the casino when seats are available. Making announcements in the poker room to apprise players of promotions. Assisting the Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor in conducting promotions by announcing rules, giving status updates, and announcing winners when applicable. Other duties such as assisting in maintaining a clean, safe environment for guests and fellow team members. Other duties as assigned by Management
