About The Position

CompoSecure is looking for a Card Qualifications Associate at our Pierce location. This position is responsible for a variety of activities and projects assigned by the Prototype Technical Project Manager specific to card and chip qualification projects including document preparation, account management assistance and similar tasks. A related responsibility is the coordination of expediting subcontractor orders, including follow up and meeting deadlines. This position is also responsible for communications with internal departments, outside vendors, and customers at the direction of Management.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support Tasks Card Body Constructions Work with various departments (examples but not limited to: R&D, Engineering, Prototype Team, Production Team) on card construction development and approvals.
  • Track data collected at 3rd party testing and distill results.
  • Implement processes to improve testing success the first time.
  • Liaison with various independent laboratories for various types of scheme-driven card testing requirements including, but not limited to, ISO and CQM.
  • Duties will also include, but not limited to, requesting quotes, labeling products, reviewing and managing test reports, make required parties aware of any potential issues or concerns, set and attend meeting as necessary with internal departments and outside vendors, and ensure expectations are met.
  • Keep qualification project plans up to date and provide status update snapshot routinely.
  • Chip Qualifications Work with Supply Chain and the Prototype Team to create intake documentation for the schemes, proofs, sample requests, and sales orders as required.
  • Compile reports from 3rd party testing to detect trends in aggregate data.
  • Manage the card manufacturing of the test cards.
  • Duties will also include, but not limited to, make required parties aware of any potential issues or concerns, set and attend meeting as necessary with internal departments and outside vendors, and ensure expectations are met.
  • Work with chip and module manufacturers to collect information from them to submit to the schemes.
  • R&D Test Cards required for Chip or Card Construction Qualification Work with various departments (examples but not limited to: Sales, R&D, Engineering, Prototype Team, Production Team) to create proofs, sample requests, and sales orders as required for testing cards (chip testing, personalization testing, construction testing, etc.).
  • Duties will also include, but not limited to, labeling products, attending meeting as necessary with internal departments and outside vendors, and ensure all lead times are met.
  • Scheme Submissions Submit prototype and productions proofs to scheme for card and chip qualification as required.
  • Become familiar with CAROL, Mastercard Connect, BMAS, and Workfront systems.
  • Additional duties to include escalating any urgent requests with scheme.
  • Liaison with schemes with any rule and artwork questions that arise, attend any required meetings, track submissions internally and create yearly reports, submit card samples as required, and alert team of any updates.
  • Process Projects Assist in any long-term process projects as necessary and as appointed.
  • Assist R&D and Prototype Teams with any additional duties such as entering orders in the company ERP system, creating ship authorizations, shipping, supporting team members that are out of the office.
  • Update Salesforce tracking as necessary.
  • Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned
