About The Position

The Card Operations Senior Processor position is responsible for supporting the opening, scanning, and sorting of Customer Service mail, FCBA disputes, Bankruptcies, and Media Center functions. The role involves keying returned Credit cards and Credit card statements, updating them as needed, and requires high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and SLA compliance. The associate will respond to requests for credit applications, statements, and notes, and may need to access various platforms to fulfill these requests. Communication with outside banks may be necessary to complete special requests. The position also involves preparing labels for stored documents based on document type, ensuring records are stored according to retention policy, and maintaining accuracy. Additionally, the associate will complete tracking documentation and reporting on customer-related inquiries as needed, along with various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Processing or similar field
  • 0-1 years data entry experience; experience with Microsoft Office Products

Responsibilities

  • Operate numerous machines, including Omation 306, Postage meter, and Letter folder, achieving a minimum of 8000 keystrokes per hour with 98% accuracy.
  • Maintain a productivity rating for returned Credit Cards at 55 per hour and returned statements at 60 per hour.
  • Rotate as needed to various areas of the operation to perform multiple tasks such as Account look ups and Research.
  • Communicate with key partners in Special letters, Consumer Deposits, Bread legacy, and Output Services leaders to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Key returned Credit cards and Credit card statements, updating accounts wherever possible with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and SLA compliance.
