About The Position

The Car Wash Supervisor is responsible for providing Guest service through daily interactions while also assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure the car wash runs smoothly. The Car Wash Supervisor will operate car wash equipment, apply cleaning chemicals, ensure the vehicles are returned to Guests in excellent condition while also providing guidance & direction to team members as needed.

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk/hear, push/pull, climb, bend/stoop, crouch/kneel/crawl, taste/smell, balance, twist/reach, carry, grasp with hands, squat, drive and use keyboard.
  • Lifting Requirements: Lift up to 50lbs daily and 50-100lbs on occasion.
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, communication equipment, verbal instructions and machinery.
  • Cognitive Requirements: Basic reading, writing and math skills. Basic speech skills; must be able to speak, read, write & understand the English language, clerical tasks, memorization, analytical skills, function under stress & make independent decisions.
  • Vision Requirements: General vision requirements in addition to close vision (<20 inches), Distance Vision (>20 feet), color vision and peripheral vision.
  • Noise Levels: Normal (<85dB) noise levels and Loud (>85dB) noise levels on occasion.
  • Repetitive Motion(s): Regularly & repetitively use both feet and both hands.
  • Environmental Factors: General working conditions include wet/humid/steam conditions not created by weather, slippery floors, working with mechanical parts and machinery including machinery that contains moving parts, toxic/caustic chemicals, concentrated soaps & cleaning solutions, outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat/cold, confined areas, pressurized equipment, Cylinders, electrical equipment, vibration, possible flying debris, flashing/strobing lighting and work around vehicles in motion.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Car Wash General Manager with recruiting and training new team members.
  • Offer continuous leadership and coaching to team members, routinely shaping positive & constructive feedback to help support the team’s success.
  • Provide the Car Wash General Manager input & support when handling discipline and coaching team members in accordance with Company policy.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the car wash, ensuring that all services are provided efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintain service quality by ensuring service times are at expected levels and established operational procedures are enforced.
  • Demonstrate a full working knowledge of all equipment and services.
  • Train team members on proper procedures for vehicle preparation, drying & detailing.
  • Demonstrates a full working knowledge of all equipment and services.
  • Respond to Guest inquiries and seek guidance from Car Wash General Manager or District Manager as appropriate.
  • Oversee cleanliness, safety & security of car wash site; ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reporting property damage, Guest & team member incidents or injuries.
  • Support preventative maintenance on car wash equipment.
  • Support and facilitate organizational changes, continuous improvement and communication.
  • Accurately and timely complete daily paperwork and bank deposits.
  • Operate washer & dryer units to clean towels, fold and place in proper storage place.
  • Maintain a clean appearance of the car wash site by emptying trash bins throughout the property; picking up debris found on the property including on the grass, cemented areas, vacuum area and inside the tunnel.
  • Clean and maintain vacuum cleaner canisters and hoses to ensure they are free from debris and are in good working order.
  • Attend mandatory car wash pit cleaning and other scheduled meetings.
