About The Position

The position is for a management role at a car wash facility located at 10652 Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge, Illinois. The role requires full-time flexible availability and involves various responsibilities including recruiting and onboarding new employees, training and coaching staff, and managing employee schedules while adhering to overtime policies. The manager will focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability, manage operating P&L metrics, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain safety procedures. The position also requires performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role.
• Unexpired Driver's License required.
• Motor vehicle record check 'MVR' will be run on the successful candidate post-offer.

• Supervisory or assistant manager experience from a Big box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store.

Responsibilities

• Successfully recruit and onboard new employees.
• Train and coach staff.

• Focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability.
• Manage operating P&L metrics and understand how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with approved vehicle damage claim procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
