About The Position

Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) operates retail stations selling gasoline and convenience products. They are seeking hard-working, safety-conscious, team-oriented individuals with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working effectively and safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong customer focus. This Lead role supports the Car Wash Site Manager and is crucial for maintaining CSI's standards, as their locations serve as flagships for testing new products and setting standards for all Chevron stations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others and be a cooperative teammate with confidence in work processes and goals
  • Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and/or coworkers on work-related matters
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to organize and keep car wash site clean and inviting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A resilient, consistent, go-getter who sees every customer as a new opportunity
  • Someone who loves to be active and engaged all the time
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism through the way you dress, carry yourself and interact with customers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California locations
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and various hours

  • Retail and/or hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer service concerns
  • Take customer orders for Unlimited Memberships and sell them with accuracy and speed
  • Handle credit card transactions through the kiosk
  • Help provide a safe and clean working environment by completing daily checklists and implementing safety guidelines and procedures
  • Support the car wash site manager with supervision of daily activities and provide back-up support on site when the manager is absent
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Clean and maintain car wash site and equipment
  • Assist customers with questions on pricing, service, and awareness of the car wash process
  • Guide customers into the carwash conveyer
  • Sell car wash services and unlimited memberships
  • Maintain and stock chemicals and equipment
  • Assist customers to process transactions
  • Maintain a safe environment on-site while working with others by following all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Support the car wash site manager with supervisory responsibilities including training new team members, completing and submitting necessary paperwork, and submitting required reporting
