About The Position

The position is for a management role at a car wash facility located at 1625 W Main St, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. The individual will function as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable and will be responsible for various operational tasks including ordering and stocking of vending supplies, training new hires, and creating effective schedules. The role requires knowledge of car wash vacuum systems and the ability to clean and maintain them. The individual will also support the Site Manager during team meetings and assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store.

Responsibilities

• Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
• Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending.
• Effectively provide training to new hires.
• Train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates.
• Train Fast Pass sales techniques to the team.
• Professionally respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
• Create an effective schedule.
• Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation.
• Clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system).
• Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
