About The Position

Conrac Solutions is seeking a full-time Ready Prep/Quick Turn-Around - Car Wash Technician for the Orlando International Airport consolidated Rental Car Facility. This position is Full-time. Thurs. – Mon. 5:00 am to 2:00 pm. We manage consolidated rental car facilities at airports across the country and are seeking your help to ensure our equipment is maintained in peak working order. As our Car Wash Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining safety compliance with airport standards as well as completing a variety of maintenance functions to include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to our equipment and systems including car wash stations, hydraulic, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatics. We need a new maintenance technician with skills for maintaining fuel, control systems, industrial vacuums, car wash systems, and utility services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA 10-hour general industry course complete before engaging in work on site.
  • Proficiency working safely with hand and small power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of facility equipment and facility maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Proficient understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety principles and practices.
  • Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, and typing are required.
  • Professional in appearance and character.
  • Able to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and record scheduled preventative maintenances on a variety of systems including carwash and detailing bays.
  • Troubleshoot failed equipment and provide recommended repair methods.
  • Assist in minor repairs on general facility equipment and systems (i.e. electrical, plumbing, doors, gate systems, HVAC, etc.).
  • Track work performed through a computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Ensure operational reliability and work to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in the latest industry standard training procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all work areas including inventory area and tools.
  • Manage and maintain an onsite parts stock inventory via an online maintenance management software.
  • Respond appropriately to urgent, emergency, or after-hour issues as they arise.
