Requirements

  • Automotive sales experience is NOT required
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus (restaurant, finance, account management, hospitality, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
  • Identify customer needs through effective listening and questioning
  • Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives
  • Guide customers through the vehicle delivery process, ensuring understanding of features, warranties, and documentation
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory, features, accessories, and benefits
  • Coordinate with service and body shop departments to ensure timely vehicle reconditioning
  • Attend dealership and manufacturer training sessions and sales meetings
  • Maintain prospecting and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Review performance regularly to improve time management and results
  • Understand automotive terminology and stay current on product and technology updates
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing retail auto sales
  • Follow all company safety policies and promptly report any incidents
