About The Position

The Car Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles on the car lot, ensuring that all cars are presentable and ready for sale. This role involves inventory management, lot merchandising, and occasionally driving vehicles to offsite locations. The attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and appearance of the sales lot, while also assisting with various administrative tasks related to vehicle management.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work any assigned shift based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of incoming and outgoing cars on the car lot.
• Manage inventory in the fleet computer system.
• Ensure vehicles are front-line ready and properly merchandised.
• Safely drive cars to and from offsite locations as needed.
• Check and log in new arrivals, entering correct status in the fleet computer system.
• Maintain a presentable sales lot by parking and aligning cars appropriately.
• Manage the back-overflow lot and shuttle cars to vendors.
• Assist with dealer trades and pick up customers when needed.
• Maintain fuel logs and other reports as requested by the Location Manager.
• File reports as needed.
