About The Position

As a Car Sales Inventory Manager, you will manage the entire store inventory process, which includes reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization, and merchandising. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all incoming vehicles are properly checked in and that the inventory is efficiently managed to meet the company's standards and goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in auto dealerships and car sales
• Valid Driver's License and a clean record
• Capable of delivering results
• Able to succeed in a global, matrix organization
• Desire to excel
• Able to garner support from stakeholders on all initiatives
• Stable work history

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incoming vehicles are properly checked in
• Triage new inventory as it enters the lot
• Manage an efficient reconditioning process, focusing on cost, quality, and cycle times
• Work closely with reconditioning vendors
• Interact with Fleet Management partner (Wheels)
• Maintain proper internal inventory controls
• Work with the fleet team to maintain target inventory levels
• Collaborate with the General Sales Manager (GSM) on daily production planning
• Develop and maintain proper lot organization to facilitate efficient processes
• Oversee proper vehicle merchandising
• Create a visual factory
• Ensure all cars are properly photographed and appear online per standards
• Reduce rejects and kicked cars
• Follow up and promptly close all open items on the partner dashboard
• Handle all communications from partners
• Ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs
• Set up trucking, if required
