About The Position

As a Car Electronics Installer, also known internally as an Autotech Agent, you will utilize your technical skills to install mobile electronics in customers' vehicles. This role involves following established procedures for recommending, troubleshooting, and installing various automotive technologies, while also providing expert advice and best practices to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license.
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience installing car electronics.
• Prior retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Install standard mobile electronic solutions including T-harness remote starts, speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers, and in-dash units.
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate any compatibility concerns prior to installation.
• Use provided guides to identify compatible mobile electronic products and complete installation projects.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Acquire and maintain required certifications.
