About The Position

Montana’s Carriers LLC is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Car Carrier Driver to join our growing transportation company. This is a full-time, hourly W-2 position for a professional driver with prior car hauling experience who can operate independently and responsibly. This role is intended for a driver who understands car carrier operations end-to-end and does not require training on vehicle loading or unloading.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
Verified car hauling / auto transport experience (required)
Valid CDL (Class A or B, as applicable) with a clean driving record
Ability to independently load and unload vehicles without supervision
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to pass: DOT drug and alcohol screening (required upon hire and ongoing, per regulation)
Background check
Ability to pass a DOT physical
Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety requirements
Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
Candidate must be local to the tri-state area or have reliable daily transportation to and from the truck lot

Responsibilities

Safely operate a car carrier truck to transport vehicles to and from assigned locations
Independently load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and industry best practices
Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate documentation for loads, deliveries, and inspections
Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, delays, or issues
Comply with all federal, state, and company transportation and safety regulations
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and professional condition of the assigned truck
Return and park the truck at the designated company lot daily
