The Capture Manager 3 at Northrop Grumman will lead significant capture opportunities in various sectors including human and scientific exploration, space mobility, and national security. This role involves developing capture strategies, managing customer relationships, and overseeing proposal development to secure contracts. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive business development efforts and ensure compliance with security and organizational processes.

  • Understand and engage with the customer marketplace and stakeholder organizations to identify market drivers and trends.
  • Develop capture strategies and tactics, including competitive assessments and pricing analysis.
  • Create clear Win Themes and Value Propositions for capture efforts.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and functional organizations involved in program pursuits.
  • Develop relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to drive partnerships.
  • Coordinate with various departments including strategy, business, finance, and engineering.
  • Manage investment capture project funds, schedules, and execution.
  • Oversee proposal development, including managing processes and writing responses.
  • Secure RFPs, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with security, conflict of interest, export control, and risk management processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • 10+ years' experience in program management, customer management, capture, or business development.
  • Knowledge and experience in civil and commercial space, space security, or national security.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and create an inclusive work environment.
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition processes.
  • Active TS/SAP clearance at the time of application.
  • Advanced Degree in STEM or Business discipline.
  • Self-directed leader with exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Active SCI and/or SAP clearance.
  • Experience interfacing with senior management and peers.
  • Aptitude to develop and execute strategy in multiple mission areas.
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes and customer organizations like NASA and USSF.
  • Experience in earned value management of complex projects.
