About The Position

7 Air is seeking an experienced Cargo Captain to lead flight operations and ensure the safe and efficient transportation of cargo. As Captain, you will be responsible for the aircraft, crew, and overall flight safety while maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This role is ideal for a skilled pilot who thrives in a leadership position and values safety, precision, and professionalism.

Requirements

Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (required)
Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Previous experience as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), preferably in cargo operations
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and flight safety procedures
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving abilities
Must be able to pass company training and maintain qualifications
Must be under 65 years of age (FAA requirement)

Responsibilities

Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and take full responsibility for flight operations
Ensure all flights comply with FAA regulations and company policies
Conduct pre-flight inspections to confirm aircraft readiness
Safely perform takeoffs, landings, and all phases of flight
Monitor weather, aircraft systems, and flight conditions to make informed decisions
Coordinate with co-pilots, crew members, dispatch, and air traffic control
Communicate with Flight Operations regarding any delays, changes, or issues
Ensure compliance with flight, duty, and rest requirements (Part 121)
Monitor fuel usage, engine performance, and aircraft systems
Lead, mentor, and support flight crew members
Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings
Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation
Represent 7 Air with professionalism at all times
