Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a high volume, quality restaurant service operation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Previous food & beverage supervisory experience
- Basic computer literacy in the Point of Sale system and the sales and catering computer application
- Current State Food Handling and Liquor Serving License(s)
Responsibilities
- Maintains standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, handling, sanitation and safety
- Follows and propagates to the team all appropriate policies and procedures
- Serves food and beverage to guests and provides quality customer service
- Takes lead on executing Chef's Table dinners. Able to execute multiple course offerings and explain wine and food pairings eloquently.
- Advises guests and team members on matters relating to food and beverage offerings
- Communicates directly with the Culinary and Stewarding teams during service to ensure proper guest service is being achieved
- Coordinates the timing of each course to correspond with the dining pace of the guests
- Assists in the creation of restaurant beverage lists
- Conducts a briefing or “line-up” with team members at the beginning of each shift in order to keep staff informed of updates, changes and/or problematic situations
- Acts as a liaison between Restaurant Management and team members, responds and works to resolve guest issues and concerns as necessary.
