About The Position

The position functions as a supervisor overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The Supervisor ensures: All post orders are followed. Established rounds are completed. Required reports are filed accurately and promptly. Proper authorities and clients are notified in emergency situations.

Requirements

Advanced technology skills.
Five (5) years of security supervisor experience required.

Nice To Haves

College degree in Criminal Justice, IT, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

Coaches and disciplines personnel appropriately. Seeks guidance from company management or designated representatives as needed. Personally, meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
Trains Security Officers and other company personnel. Reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
Assists in payroll submission and personnel information. Ensures adequate coverage for all posts and positions in coordination with management.
Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure all security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided.
Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
Inspects posts and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
Interviewing, orienting, and training employees.
Planning, assigning, and directing work.
Coaching and appraising employee performance.
Rewarding and disciplining employees.
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Making hiring and termination recommendations.
May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policies.
