About The Position
The Captain of Police & Public Safety at the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is responsible for overseeing departmental programs, compliance, training, and daily operations under the supervision of the Chief of Police & Public Safety. This role includes managing police supervisors, crime prevention initiatives, and ensuring the department meets accreditation standards. The Captain also serves as the head of the agency in the Chief's absence and plays a key role in community engagement and policing efforts.
